We vet and schedule the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades, run clash detection before rough-in, assemble the City of Katy and Harris/Fort Bend permit packages, and sequence inspections ourselves. That single-team control is what keeps the schedule and the budget honest.
What kinds of projects does the one-stop model work best for?
It works best for commercial owners and brokers handling shopping-center and retail buildouts, office and medical tenant improvements, and ground-up commercial, where a missed handoff between trades costs weeks. It also works well for homeowners doing larger remodels and additions who do not want to manage subs themselves. Is Tanglewood Construction licensed and insured across the Houston metro?
Texas does not license general contractors at the state level, so there is no license number to show. We are registered with the City of Katy. We carry general liability and workers' comp insurance, our crews are bonded, and the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing subcontractors we use are licensed. A named project manager runs every job. We provide our registration and insurance details on request.
What parts of the Houston metro do you serve?
We are based in Katy and serve the west Houston metro: Cinco Ranch, Cypress, Fulshear, Richmond, Sugar Land, Memorial / Energy Corridor, and west Houston. We also reach the broader Houston metro on commercial projects. The one-stop model travels well because the same in-house team handles design, permits, and MEP wherever the project is.
